POCUS Training for Pathologists

POCUS makes the performance of  fine needle aspiration (FNA) safer. At the end of this 1/2 day course, participants will be comfortable with guiding a needle safely to it's target. The majority of the time will be spent practicing needle guidance. 

Topics covered:

• Basic Ultrasound Physics
• Scanning/Knobology
• Neck anatomy, including thyroid
• Identifying thyroid lesions amenable to FNA
• Needle guidance

Cost will not exceed $2000for up to 5 learners and up to $1500 for each additional group of up to 5  learners. Price includes phantom models for needle guidance practice. Final price is dependent on the number of learners.   Travel reimbursement for instructors is not included.
